Welcome to Long Lane Clinic, your friendly local manual therapy clinic conveniently located in Curridge, close to Chieveley and Hermitage, and just a short distance from Thatcham and Newbury.  

If you have aches and pains or general stiffness then I can provide a gentle and effective means of helping you back to a healthy and pain-free range of movement.  

I am Karen Thornton-Smith and I am the clinic practitioner.  When you come to see me I won't simply concentrate on treating your problem area but will adopt a whole body approach to facilitate your body's natural healing mechanisms, using a variety of techniques including soft tissue massage and joint articulation.  I trained at the European School of Osteopathy, graduating in 2010 and, after 14 years in practice, chose to deregister from the GOsC Register of Osteopaths in April 2024.  I am now semi-retired and inpractice as a manual therapist.

I am also trained in the use of dry needling acupuncture for the relief of tight and painful muscles.
